How It Works
Operation: Joy Drop connects brands and businesses with individuals through sponsored cards, providing a platform for organizations to support mental health in their community. The cards are distributed by participating establishments and individuals, inviting people to engage in a modern twist on the classic “Have a penny, leave a penny” concept. People can take a card for themselves, someone they know, or be prepared to share joy with others they may encounter. Upon receiving a card, individuals are welcomed with the uplifting message, “You’ve just been Joy Dropped!”
Recipients
Step 1: Receive an Operation: Joy Drop Card
You may receive an Operation: Joy Drop card from a friend, a business, or even a stranger looking to brighten your day.
Step 2: Enjoy the Uplifting Message on the Card
Read the motivational message on the card and know that someone is thinking of you and hoping to bring joy into your life.
Step 3: Scan the Card
Scan the Maxogram on the side of the card with the sponsor’s logo using the small, free Maxogram® app to learn more about Operation: Joy Drop and scan the other side of the card to unlock a little motivational, uplifting video message.
Both sides, when scanned with the Maxogram app give you one-touch interactive options to go beyond the message itself.
Step 4: Pass It On!
If the card resonated with you, consider passing it on to someone else who could use a little dose of joy. This way, you can help spread the positivity and kindness even further.
Step 5: Share Your Experience
Share your experience with Operation: Joy Drop by tagging @opjoydrop and hashtagging @opjoydrop on social media or share it personally with friends and family, and help spread awareness about the initiative.
Sponsors
Step 1: Sponsor a Box of Cards
Choose a sponsorship option and provide your company logo (preferably in vector format) to sponsors@operationjoydrop.com. Your logo will be featured on one side of the cards, as seen below
Step 2: Receive Your Cards
We’ll print and ship your cards directly to you or arrange for local delivery.
Step 3: Distribute Cards
Hand out cards to customers, clients, or employees, or make them available in your office or retail space. Encourage recipients to keep the card or pass it on to spread joy.
Step 4: Scan and Enjoy
Card recipients can scan the Maxogram on either side of the card to access uplifting messages and resources.
